1908-2008: 100 ans du Palau de la Música Catalana

La CaixaForum Barcelona organise "1908-2008: 100 ans du Palau de la Música Catalana" pour célébrer le centainaire du célèbre Palais de la Musique. L'exposition, qui montre l'évolution du Palau (passée - présente -future) esta ccompagneé de concerts.

Situé au coeur d'un vieux quartier de Barcelone, le Palau de la Música Catalana qui a été déclaré patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO, est connu pour son architecture incroyable mise au point par Lluís Domènech et Montaner. L'édifice fut ouvert au public le 9 Février 1908 et inauguré par la venue de l'Orfeó Català (Catalan Choral Society). Depuis son existance il a accueillit de très grands artistes Sergei Prokófiev, Igor Stravinsky et Ella Fitzgerald, Josep Carreras, Norah Jones et Woody Allen.

L'expositione de la CaixaForum met en évidence les changement du Palau depuis les 100 dernières années.

Les séries de concerts retrace l'apogée du Palau à le venue de grande légende dasn le monde de la musique comme Sergei Rachmaninov, Arnold Schönberg, Maurice Ravel et Duke Ellington.
