Ouverture du premier musée du rock d'Europe, à Barcelone

Une exclusivité en Europe ! Le 1er Avril 2011, le premier Musée du Rock d’Europe a vu le jour à Barcelone, dans le nouveau centre commercial et culturel Las Arenas, ancien temple de la tauromachie. Il s’agit du deuxième musée du rock dans le monde après le Hall of Fame de Cleveland aux Etats-Unis.


Ce musée présente une incroyable collection d’objets et de documents insolites rendant hommage aux noms les plus mythiques de la scène rock. Au total, ce sont plus de 500 articles de souvenirs cultes, dont des disques d’or et de platine, des vêtements, instruments et divers objets inédits provenant de Paul McCartney, Kurt Cobain, Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, Eric Clapton, Bruce Springsteen et bien d’autres encore. De la première guitare de John Lennon à un ticket de concert signé par les 4 membres des Rolling Stones, en passant même par une carte de crédit de Mick Jagger, vous trouverez de tout !


Ces objets sont répartis dans le musée sur différents secteurs :

- Une première salle retraçant l’histoire du rock par ordre chronologique, des années 60 jusqu’à aujourd’hui ;
- une salle spécialement consacrée aux Beatles et une autre aux Rolling Stones ;
- une salle d’expositions temporaires dédiée cette année au groupe The Queen, à l’occasion du 40ème anniversaire de la formation du groupe.


Egalement, les visiteurs pourront profiter d’une salle de concert de 200 places, dont la programmation se fera très prochainement. Mais à défaut de pouvoir assister à un concert, le musée leur offre l'opportunité de jouer les rockstars en montant sur la fausse scène du On Stage, où ils pourront chanter et jouer d'un instrument sous les applaudissements du public !



Nouvelle attraction de la capitale catalane, ce musée abrite ainsi un véritable trésor pour tous les amateurs de rock. Le prix de l'entrée est de 10euros.
