LES FESTES DE GRACIA 2009


Cette année encore la ville de Barcelone célèbrera les Fêtes de Gracia ou « Festes de Gracia » en Catalan. Cet évènement aura lieu du 15 au 21 août se déroule durant 7 jours. Durant cette semaine le quartier de Gracia se transforme en zone culturelle géante, certaines rues adoptent un thème particulier et cherchent à avoir le titre de la rue la mieux décorée.
La “Federación de la Fiesta Mayor de Gracia”, association organisatrice de l’évènement choisi quelles rues seront décorées. Celles-ci changent chaque année, exceptée pour la calle Verdi dont la présence est indiscutable puisqu’elle offre chaque année la décoration la plus créative et la plus spectaculaire.

Cette année 19 rues ont été sélectionnées et le thème central de la décoration est la ”Nova Canço”, en français la « nouvelle chanson », un mouvement musical catalan qui apparu sous Franca à la fin des années 60 et au début des années 70.
L’ambiance durant cette semaine de fête est bonne enfant, et quand la nuit arrive le quartier se remplit de jeunes et vous avez de fortes chances d’en croiser certains faisant encore la fête à une heure avancée de la nuit.

Tout se termine entre 2h et 3h du matin, selon les jours. A ce moment là, un fort dispositif de sécurité et de nettoyage entre en action, obligeant les fêtards à retourner à leurs appartements pour éviter que les habitants ne soient dérangés par le bruit.
